Charity is indeed a form of purificationHouston and surrounding areas are in a state of emergency. Our prayer is for all of those affected by Harvey. Our Social Services Committee continues to work to ensure people in need receive food, shelter, and comfort in the wake of this horrific event.
If you find yourself in a crisis situation and in need of urgent care, please reach out to the ISGH Social Services Committee. We have set up assistance for anyone needing urgent attention. ISGH Social Services for the time being using two mosques as shelters to help those impacted by flooding throughout the Greater Houston area. They will be open 24 hours a day, providing a dry place to stay, food and emotional support for displaced residents.

We are partnering with the organization Baitulmaal who have helped during past flood disasters. They will be providing hygiene products, food, and water to those in need as soon as conditions permit. We highly encourage all centers to open as shelters for everyone and anyone in the residing community to seek help.

If you would like to donate to help with flood aid and relief, please donate to ISGH either online (see form below) or you directly to Wallis State Bank Account, account number 52930 (Title: ISGH Relief Fund). All donations will be made directly to this fund to assist victims of Harvey.
