ISGH Elections 2020 Voting Patterns/Breakdown
Voting Counts & Results for Contested Positions
ISGH Elections 2020 concluded on 13 December 2020. Counting of the paper ballots from Early Voting as well as the General Election Day voting was done later that evening. Un-official results from the counting for Shura positions were provided to public through non-official channels. Below please find the names of successful candidates. Please remember to treat the results as PRELIMINARY in that EC is still going through normal verifications of various counts. There are several integrity and validity check markers were embedded in the ballots and the whole process and those check marks are currently undergoing analysis and verification. However, for all Shura positions up for elections, the count differences are such that there absolutely negligible probability of any change in the list of those who succeeded.

- BRING: Photo ID (acceptable: DL, DPS ID, Passport, School ID); If possible, your own pen; MASK a MUST, no MASK no VOTE
- Social distancing to be maintained at all times. Any safety violation will be dealt with very seriously and sternly.
- At Early Voting, a situation had developed whereby some members could not vote even though they had checked their membership status via ISGH portal. This unfortunate situation happened because of improvements made to the portal. Portal now uses live ISGH Membership Data, Of course the lists used by EC cannot be live due to cutoffs necessitated by the requirement of sending data to Simply Voting.
- Once the above situation was identified, EC Workers were instructed to start taking down the names of members thus affected.
- EC then came up with a plan to allow members thus affected to not have to come to Main Center and vote online. A long meeting was held with BOD candidates. Unfortunately, some candidates did not want such change made in the ongoing elections.
- As an alternative, EC will accommodate these members by processing them on priority basis on the General Election Day. Please approach the special desk setup for such purpose when you come to the Main Center on Sunday.
- Otherwise, if you come to vote and your name is not found in the Membership List provided to EC by ISGH, we have an area set aside where ISGH Officials and EC will jointly work to resolve the issue. You MUST then be able to prove to the satisfaction of first ISGH then EC that omission of your name is a mistake on part of ISGH. Once resolved, you will be able to vote. Hence we suggest you check your status through ISGH Membership Status Check portal and bring along necessary papers (receipts, bank statements, etc) to prove your point.

Early Voting got done on Sunday 06 December. Below please find the table depicting number of votes casted from members of various ICs. Please treat these numbers as PRELIMINARY ONLY. As analysis, cross checks, and cleanup of the data progresses the numbers may get changed.

- Members from North, NW, South, & SE Zones may vote at any of the nine (9) voting centers within the four (4) Zones
- Members from above listed 4 Zone SHOULD NOT go to any voting center within the SW Zone
- Members from the SW Zone should vote within the SW Zone as per following:
- Members of Mission Bend IC, New Territory IC, & River Oaks IC may vote at any of these same thee ICs.
- Members from Synott IC MUST VOTE at the Synott IC voting Center
- PLEASE NOTE: For Early Balloting no change and/or addition to the Membership List provided to EC by ISGH is possible. Thus you are strongly urged to make sure that your name is in the list. Please visit the Membership Status Check from home page of ISGH.

EC requested ALL Shura Position Candidates to submit their resumes by Friday the 27th November. Resumes already received are being posted. Others will be posted if and when they are received.
