Online Voting  

Sunday, December 1st, 2024  10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Inshallah, all ISGH voting members who have opted for online voting will receive an email by Saturday, December 30th, 204. This email will be sent from vote@simplyvoting.com and will include detailed instructions, a unique password, and a link to cast your vote online. To ensure you receive this email, please add vote@simplyvoting.com to your safe senders list.

If you do not receive the email or encounter issues voting online, you can still vote in person at any early voting center or on Election Day at the River Oaks Islamic Center.

Online voting will open on Sunday, December 1st, at 10:00 AM and wil close at 4:00 PM.

Early Voting Update

Assalamu Alaikum, dear community members,

This year's election saw a lower-than-expected votes casted, as per the Election Commission's estimation. This was primarily due to a significant number of voters being marked as restricted in the voter list provided by ISGH to the Election Commission.

Long lines were observed at all polling stations, and many voters experienced frustration due to extended wait times. Additionally, the verification system for restricted voters faced significant challenges, becoming overwhelmed and collapsed by the volume of individuals requiring verification by the ISGH membership team.

Despite these issues, a total of 1,453 voters were able to cast their ballots. Below is a breakdown of the votes by zone:

• North Zone: 374
• Northwest Zone: 314
• Southeast Zone: 350
• South Zone: 91
• Southwest Zone: 274
• Non-segmented Votes: 50

Total Votes Cast: 1,453

JazakAllah Khair for your patience and participation in this early voting day. Main day of ISGH election is on Sunday December 8^th, 2024, from 10:00 am-4:00 pm. EC has requested ISGH Shura to allow 2 additional voting center on the day of election to accommodate community members who were unable to vote on early voting day. This require shura approval, EC will update this page soon, if this permission is granted.

ISGH Election 2024 Results

Alhamdulillah, today marked the final voting day of the ISGH 2024 Election. The process was conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner, with a significant turnout of voters. The Election Commission maintained complete neutrality and upheld its commitment to the community by ensuring a fair and transparent election.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the voters who exercised their right to choose the next leadership of our esteemed organization, ISGH.

As all elected positions within ISGH are purely volunteer roles, we also want to express our appreciation to all the nominees for their dedication and willingness to serve the community to the best of their abilities. May Allah accept your efforts and sacrifices.

Congratulations to all the winners of this election! This position comes with immense responsibility, and we pray that you fulfill it with sincerity and for the pleasure of Allah (Subhana Wa Ta’ala).
